The building has extracted the color elements "red and black" from the old campus of the Drum Tower of Nanjing University in color. Through the careful combination of dark stone and red ceramic slabs, it forms a unique architectural effect, which is in harmony with the colors of the buildings already on campus. The building adopts gentle large steps to form a good echoing relationship with the opposite library and lake. Today, the large steps have become a place for graduates to take photos.
